DATA PROCESSING FOR ORDER FULFILLMENT

Your payment data will be forwarded to the relevant financial institution or payment provider as necessary to process your payment. The legal basis for the data transfer is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

7.2 Use of payment service providers

  • PayPal
    When paying via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or—if offered—"purchase on account" or "installment payment" via PayPal, we pass on your payment data to PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. The data transfer is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and only to the extent required for payment processing.

PayPal may perform a credit check for specific payment methods, based on its legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. For this purpose, your data may be forwarded to credit agencies. You may object to this processing at PayPal. However, PayPal may still process your data if necessary for contractual payment processing.

  • SOFORT
    If you choose the "SOFORT" payment method, payment is processed by SOFORT GmbH, Theresienhöhe 12, 80339 Munich, Germany. We pass on the necessary information to SOFORT as per Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. SOFORT is part of the Klarna Group.

  • REVIEW REMINDER

    We use your email address to send you a one-time reminder to leave a review, provided you gave explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

    • Facebook Pixel and Ads
      This site uses Facebook advertising tools for remarketing and tracking purposes. Data is anonymous for us but stored by Facebook. Facebook may use it for targeted ads under their privacy policy.
